[Rx2021] IPPE Patient Care Project Hours Requirement Reminder: Documentation due no later than April 17th

Hello P2s and P3s,

As the semester is moving along quickly, this is a reminder that each of you need to complete six (6) hours of patient care-related project time and turn in the required documentation before the end of this Spring 2020 semester.  There are many students in each class who have turned nothing in yet. Forms are in Courseweb in Community Pharmacist Practice (P2) and Health-System Pharmacy (P3) courses.  If you have completed some or all of your hours, please turn in your documentation now rather than waiting until the end of the semester. Please take care of this requirement before Friday, April 17th, the last day of classes for the Spring semester.

As of today, P2s have completed over 253 project hours, compared to 153 for the P3s...just sharing...

Please keep in mind that all projects require a pharmacist or other properly credentialed health professional to act as a preceptor.  Do not wait until the last minute to find a preceptor, even if your project was previously approved.  All projects AND preceptors must be pre-approved at least one week before the date of the project.

Failure to complete this requirement will result in an INCOMPLETE grade for your Community Pharmacist Practice (P2) or Health-System Pharmacy (P3) course, stopping your progression in our program until the requirement is satisfactorily completed.  For P3 students, this means you will not be able to start your APPE rotations on time, resulting in loss of rotations.
