Home Page

Within the School of Pharmacy, important conversations are happening with alums, faculty, staff, and the leadership of PittPharmacy. The statement on our home page is a result of that conversation and a promise that more is to come.

We at PittPharmacy recognize the challenges of systemic racism, bias and structural inequality. We stand with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color against racism. We take an anti-racist stance. We must reflect on our own beliefs, words, actions, and interactions. We MUST do more. We WILL do more.

We are listening. We are learning. We are taking immediate steps.
At the center of everything we do is assuring a safe, equitable, and just community.

Volunteer for a Taskforce
I am charging a taskforce to determine WHAT more we will do. Ideas and actions abound. I am excited by the energy around the topic.
The group will be recommending specific action plans. I invite students, faculty and staff to participate. We will be working separately with alumni.
