[Rx2021] FW: Panther Clinic Leader Application

Hello everyone,



We hope the start of your semester is going well! We are emailing you because we are looking for four P3 students to serve as Panther Clinic Leaders during the P4 year. If you don’t know, Panther Clinic is a volunteer based organization consisting of medical students, pharmacy students, and staff at the Birmingham Clinic. The clinic takes place on the first and third Saturday of each month from 12-4pm and provides longitudinal patient-centered care to qualifying patients.



As a P4 Clinic Leader your responsibilities would include:

  *   Organize and mentor pharmacy students
  *   Review patient charts
  *   Assign pharmacy students to patient appointments
  *   Assist pharmacist in therapy recommendations



As a clinic leader, you would only be expected to go one weekend a month. Students should have a majority of their P4 rotations in the Pittsburgh area so that they can attend clinic most months. Responsibilities would begin in May 2020 and end in April 2021.

You will be notified via email by Monday, February 17th if you have been selected as P4 Panther Clinic Leader.
