Hello P1 - P4 students:

In addition to the clinic spreadsheet link below (contains clinics with specific dates, i.e., St. Mary's on 12/30 and 12/31), additional student volunteering is needed at these locations below. Please contact the preceptors directly if you are interested/able to help to discuss times/dates.

If you volunteer, please turn in your IPPE project hours form/reflection to me. We are excited for this opportunity for you!

Hello P1 - P4 students,

As the COVID vaccine efforts are continuing, our independent pharmacy colleagues are asking for student volunteer help with the clinics they are conducting. As part of her work with the PA Department of Health, a central spreadsheet link has been created by Dr. Kim Coley with opportunities in these independent pharmacy clinics, and you can sign up to volunteer. Your volunteering can include helping with screening, customer flow, or vaccinating (if you completed the proper steps).

The first clinic is in St. Mary's, PA (Dec 30th and 31st), so if you are near there, please consider volunteering. Right now, this is the first clinic scheduled, but more will come in the next few weeks, so please continue to check this link for opportunities. Dr. Coley noted that pharmacies are only getting a few days' notice when they are getting vaccine, so the spreadsheet will be updated often.


As per my other message, these volunteer hours can be considered for IPPE project hours credit if you log your time and turn in a reflection with the activity form to me. P4s also should document their time and send to me, as we are tracking all of the great work our students are doing.
