We received the email below from Blake Tyger that they will be changing the “Skillport process”, this will now be changed.  Please read the below message carefully.

If you have any issues, please contact Blake Tyger for assistance.  Please note this is ONLY for student performing rotations at a AHN site.

Hello,

I hope the beginning of the school year has been smooth for you and your students!

I am writing to you today to be proactive about an update occurring this coming weekend. As of Sunday (9/22) AHN will no longer be using Skillport as our learning management software. Instead, it will be replaced with myLearning – a new and more adaptable software.

If you do not have any students currently (or in the next three months) rotating through the network, you can ignore this message.

If you do have students in the network currently or in the next three months, please read this e-mail (and forward to your students, as you see fit).

Notes about the update:

  *   Please have your students complete any outstanding Skillport training by this Friday (9/20) at 4:00pm.
  *   If the students do any Skillport training over the weekend, please have them save a copy of the completion certificate to their computer, and upload it to myClinicalExchange. We will need proof of completion, or your students will have to redo the course.
  *   On Monday (9/23) Skillport will be shut down.
  *   Log-in information to myLearning will be the same as the log-in information to Skillport.
  *   On myLearning, the names of the courses will be similar, the old course numbers will be searchable, and the content of the courses will be the same. There will be new course numbers, and those will be communicated through new documents on myClinicalExchange as well as e-mailed out on follow-up e-mails to the students seeking clarity/help.

We ask for your patience during this transition. We also promise that we are doing everything we can to make this a seamless transition for the students.

If problems arise, please continue reaching out to me (or Laura Matson, for undergraduate nursing students).
