Good afternoon,

I would like to be signed up for the January 9th time slot for CPR recertification. Please let me know if this is feasible and if there is anything that I need to do on my own. Thank you!

Best,

Subject: [Rx2021] CPR Recertification UPDATE

Hello P3s,

As you know, all P3 students are required to be recertified by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support so that you can attend your APPE rotations. The School has arranged for this training to take place on Saturday, January 25th at no cost to you. We have since learned that some students in the P3 class may be attending the PPA meeting in January, which conflicts with the January 25th recertification class. If you cannot attend the January 25th group session, the Center for Emergency Medicine has made a few spaces available in their monthly recertification courses, which are held on selected Thursdays. The available extra classes are Dec 12th, Jan 9th, and Feb 13th, from 6:30pm-9:30pm. If you would like to do your recertification at one of these evening classes, please notify Ms. Schmotzer by Monday, October 21st. There is limited space available for the Thursday evening classes (5-7 students each time), as these are open to the public. If you are signing up for one of the Thursday evening classes, do not sign up for a January 25th timeslot on the GoogleDoc link. We need to provide an accurate attendee list for all sessions to the Center for Emergency Medicine.

Thank you,
