[Rx2021] 2ND REQUEST FOR WHITE COAT CEREMONY MUSICIANS

Dear Class of 2021,

I am once again going to appeal for your assistance in carrying on the School of Pharmacy’s tradition for having PharmD student musicians play the prelude music for the Class of 2023 White Coat Ceremony on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall.  I would like you to please reflect on your own White Coat Ceremony and the memorable day it was for each of you and your families. We love to showcase our very talented PharmD students by carrying on this tradition.

Please consider being a very important part of this memorable event as a 2020 ChambeRx Musician and respond to stellkj at pitt.edu<mailto:stellkj at pitt.edu> by Wednesday, December 4 to volunteer to perform at this ceremony.

Hello Class of 2021,

Historically, we have the School of Pharmacy musician volunteers (ChambeRx Musicians) perform at the beginning of the White Coat Ceremony at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall scheduled for January 31, 2020. These talented musicians play prelude music as guests arrive and as the class processes into the hall. Due to classes and rotations for the P2’s, we are in need of P3 musicians. Please note that this does require some practice times prior to the event. You will need to be at S&S on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 1:15 p.m. for setup. Dean Kroboth would very much like to continue this tradition showing our talented musical students.
