The preceptor in Newfoundland has provided additional details about APPE Elective rotations available there:


  1.  Cystic Fibrosis Clinic, Health Sciences Centre - Dr. John Hawboldt (1 student only in block 1, 2, or 3)

2.      Medication Therapy Services Clinic - Dr. Cathy Balsom (1 student only in block 1, 2, or 3)
__X_ Community (pharmacist-run clinic; not a dispensary)    or  _X__ Elective

3.      Lawtons Nursing Home Services - Ms. Ashley Waghmare (& Nurse Practitioner) (1 or 2 students in block 5 or 6 (2 students only if paired during same block))
_X__Long term care (within a community pharmacy) or _X__ Elective

4.      Eastern Health - Preceptor Unknown at this time (1 student only in block 5 or 6)
_X__ Acute Care /__X_ Institutional     or  _X__ Ambulatory Care
