[Rx2021] Announcement for BSPS Students

This email is an important announcement for those students who are finishing their undergraduate studies this April.  Please disregard if you previously earned a degree or if you are not using financial aid.



The University Collections Office has placed a Collections hold yesterday on students who are receiving financial aid who have not yet completed their loan Exit Interview.  You need to complete the exit requirement because you have finished your undergraduate studies after this semester.  Therefore, moving forward, your borrowing classification will be Graduate.  This hold will restrict your ability to register if it is not resolved.



You should have received email instructions from HeartlandECSI with instructions for completing the exit and your PIN.  Please complete your loan exit interview in a timely manner if you have not done so already.



If you have any additional questions regarding your Federal Perkins Loan or Pharmacy Loan, please contact the University Collections Office at 412-624-7560.


Also, if you have started receiving letters from your lenders regarding your separation date, we are happy to assist you with a letter (if requested) or complete any forms for your lender (if provided).  Please be assured that the university will confirm your full-time status through the National Student Clearinghouse after classes begin the fall.  However, we are happy to assist in the meantime.
