Hello Pitt Pharmacy,


I hope you are all aware of the tragic shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue this past Saturday. As a Jewish student here, this event has hit very close to home. With this sentiment in mind, I have started, with the support of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, the Jewish fraternity at Pitt, a letter writing campaign for the synagogue, the victim’s families, and those injured. I have hundreds of small letters printed out and will be distributing them throughout the week to students, faculty and administrators. Beyond monetary donations, I feel a show of support and thoughts of those affected will be equally meaningful if not more. If you are able to fill one out, I know this can be impactful on those affected by the tragedy. Please reach out to me if you would like to pick up one or more of the letters to fill out yourself or to distribute to others you know. I would like to be able to deliver these to the synagogue in the coming week. Once you fill one out, you can either find me or you can take them to 229 Salk Hall, Student Services, where there is a blue basket to place your note.
