Dear students

I am excited to share with you the opportunity to be one in a million and help create a healthier future by enrolling in the All of Us Pennsylvania Research Program right here in Salk Hall! The All of Us Pennsylvania staff will be conducting onsite enrollment appointments at the School of Dental Medicine Clinic in Room 3191, down the hall from University Dental Health Service, on December 6th and December 7th. They will also have ongoing enrollment dates available at this location.

Those that participate and complete the basic requirements will receive a $25 Giant Eagle gift card. You can participate by doing any of the following:

     * Go to Joinallofus.org to start the digital enrollment process
        * Then call 412-383-2737 to schedule an appointment

     * Go to Joinallofuspa.org to schedule an appointment online

o Walk in to the clinic in Room 3191 Thursday or Friday

All of Us Pennsylvania is an NIH-funded research initiative dedicated to advancing precision medicine by recruiting one million people nationally, including 120,000 in western Pennsylvania. Several of our faculty and staff are working on this initiative and now you can join this effort by volunteering to participate. I am enthusiastic about this research program and its impact on the future of health.

Precision medicine is health care that is based on each individual. It takes into account factors like where you live, what you do, and how your body responds to certain medications. To make health care better in the future, we need to learn more about the differences that make each of us unique. We can all help by sharing health information for research.

In the future, this data could help researchers:

• Identify a person’s risk for disease

• Learn which treatments work best for different people

  * Join people with other research studies
  * Test how mobile devices can encourage people to take better care of their health

By joining the All of Us Pennsylvania Precision Medicine Research Program, you can be part of a special group of people who are sharing their health information to help advance health research.

Join me in becoming one in a million!!

All the Best,
Dr. Antinopoulos

I’d greatly appreciate it!!
