[Rx2021] Class Committee/Council/Society Elections

Hi Class of 2021,


There are 6 student bodies that PittPharmacy uses to receive student input on anything from curriculum changes to alumni programs. These bodies have 1 or 2 student representatives holding 4-year positions from each class. The attached document gives a background on each committee/council/society, as well as students and faculty members to contact for more information if you are interested in running for a position.


To run for a position, you must send either Hailey, Mara, or I your name and a memo you want your classmates to see when they vote (less than 100 words). Names and memos will be collected until Monday, October 2nd. Here are some more considerations:

  *   You can run for as many positions as you like, but you can only be elected to one position. If you run for more than one position, you will need to write a new memo for each position.
  *   Elections will be held on Courseweb at a date to be decided.
  *   You do not need to give a speech.
  *   There are 9 total positions open for P1's.
  *   Student bodies meet, on average, once per month (some meet even less frequently).
