[Rx2021] Pharmacy email for ASCP Guest Speaker

Hi everyone!


ASCP will be hosting our first guest speaker next Tuesday, September 26, from 12-1pm in room 501! We are excited to have Dr. Pruskowski, the Palliative Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist with UPMC Palliative and Supportive Institute, here to talk to us about her work in palliative care, geriatrics, and consultant pharmacy. For those who may not know her yet, her areas of interest include education of effective and safe use of medication for palliative care patients, as well as development of treatment algorithms in palliative care. Although her practice is focused on palliative care, her work is closely combined with geriatric pharmacotherapy in many overlapping disease states and medications.
