[Rx2021] Elective Information Session: Monday October 23

Hey everyone,


There will be an optional electives information session on Monday, October 23, 8:00-8:45 a.m., in 402 Salk. It is specific to electives that will be offered in Spring 2018 and, therefore, most important for P3s. However, those of you that have the time to take electives next spring term (if you waived out of required courses), are welcome to attend.

The complete list of available electives will be shared and ten faculty and staff members will be available to answer questions about specific spring term electives, as follows.
·         Dr. Ameer Ali: 1) Pharmacy Innovation 2 and 2) Reinventing the Incumbent: Designing an Intrapreneurship Strategy
·         Dr. Joni Carroll: Special Topics in Patient Care Service Implementation
·         Dr. Lorin Grieve: Health care for the LGBTQIA Community
·         Dr. Deanne Hall: Comprehensive Diabetes Management
·         Dr. Inma Hernandez: Pharmacoepidemiology
·         Dr. Susan Meyer: 1) Principles and Techniques for Teaching and 2) Literature and Film to Understand the Patient-Provider Experience (an interprofessional course)
·         Dr. Sam Poloyac: Research-focused electives
·         Ms. Bridget Regan: Executive Boardroom
·         Dr. Pam Smithburger: Acute Care Pharmacotherapy Simulation
·         Ms. Cheryl Sorensen: Information on the registration process for Special Topics
