<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt">The limited submission opportunities listed in this announcement are programs that place a limit on the number of applications that the University can submit to a funding organization. Some sponsors stipulate
 restrictions on the number of submissions per institution, school and/or discipline. When such limitations are stipulated in program guidelines, an internal review and selection process is necessary to select the best-qualified candidate or proposal to represent
 the University.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt"><span style="color:black"><a href="https://upitt.infoready4.com/">Competition Space</a>, the
</span>University’s internal competition site,<span style="color:black"> provides Pitt faculty and students with an online portal to streamline the process of finding, and applying for, limited submission competitions and other internally coordinated funding
 opportunities. This easy-to-use, web-based interface provides detailed opportunity announcements as well as links to funder and program resources.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt">Applications that are submitted through the site are reviewed by the Vice Provost for Research. In cases where there are more applications received through the site than stipulated by the sponsor, an ad hoc committee
 is convened to make selection recommendations.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:9.0pt">The following limited submission funding opportunities have been added to the
