<span style="font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">To ensure that MyFunding data remain accurate, any funding proposal that stays in ‘Pending Department Submission’ status for
<u>more than one (1) year</u> will trigger an automated notification (Figure 1). A follow-up reminder will be sent every 7 days thereafter to both the Department Administrator and the Principal Investigator. At each notification, the funding proposal status
should be reviewed and updated when possible. </span></p>

Effective April 1, 2026, any funding proposal that has remained in a “Pending Sponsor Review” for
<u>more than two (2) years</u> will be automatically updated to “Not Funded”. This status change will not generate email notifications. If the proposal should reflect a status other than “Not Funded,” please notify by email the Specialist on the record with
the correct status.</div>
