Coming in FY27: MyRA Upgrade
The PERIS™ Team is excited to announce that we have officially kicked off a project to upgrade MyRA to a cloud-based platform!
This upgrade represents a key first step in modernizing our Pitt hosted research administration systems to a cloud-based, vendor hosted suite of research administration modules that will provide intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly experiences for our Pitt research community.
What You Can Expect
While the core functionality of MyRA will remain familiar, this upgrade introduces a modern platform designed to improve usability and performance, and to better position our research administration systems for future integration together.
Some of the main improvements include:

  *   A modernized user interface with clean navigation and intuitive design
  *   A task- focused Home page that highlights ad-hoc and system-generated tasks for the user, including description, related project, and due date
  *   Collaboration features that allow discussions about a submission without impacting the workflow
  *   Future cross-suite integration to allow users to link agreements to other projects and submissions (for example, the ability to link funding proposals and compliance protocols to an agreement)

Your testing and feedback are important steps for us in delivering a successful upgrade and smooth transition for all users. A new page dedicated to the MyRA Project will be added to the Pitt Electronic Research Information Solution (PERIS™) website.  As the project progresses, you will have a central location for updates, including:

  *   Timeline and key milestones
  *   Go-live communications
  *   Training resources and Frequently Asked Questions

An update will be sent once the webpage is available.
