[PERIS-Listserv] Alert: Updated Application Instructions for NIH T and F Grants

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced updated instructions for Fellowship (F) and Training (T) Grant Applications on the new Implementation of New Initiatives and Policies webpage<https://grants.nih.gov/policy-and-compliance/implementation-of-new-initiatives-and-policies>.
F Grants:

  *   NIH applicants applying to a parent Fellowship opportunity for the April 8 or May 7, 2025 standard due date must use FORMS-H application forms and instructions.
  *   Applicants applying to non-parent Fellowship opportunities must use FORMS-I application forms and instructions.
  *   FORMS-H is still an available option in MyFunding. Applicants should carefully review Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFOs) and choose the correct SF424 form depending on the NOFO instructions.

T Grants:

  *   Recruitment Plans to Enhance Diversity are no longer required and those included in applications under review will not be evaluated or considered in funding decisions.
  *   FORMS-I Training data tables<https://grants.nih.gov/grants-process/write-application/forms-directory/data-tables/forms-i> 6a, 6b, and 7 have been revised to remove calculations for % underrepresented minorities.
  *
NIH Training Grant applications should still be submitted via MyFunding System-to-System, and the system-supported FORMS-I forms are updated to reflect the new NIH data table revisions.

All NIH applicants are strongly encouraged to check all NOFOs for updates and changes before submitting applications. Many NOFOs have been recently updated.
