[Peris-listserv] How to Conduct an Advanced Search for Sponsors in MyFunding

Due to the large number of organizations, it may be necessary to conduct an advanced search in MyFunding to find an organization.

To conduct an advanced search when adding a sponsor to a funding proposal, click on the box with three ellipses in question 5.0 Proposal Description & Contacts (see Figure 1).

The 'Select Organization' window will open. Click 'Advanced' (see Figure 2).

Once selected, additional filters will become available for selection (i.e. Org Parent, Org ID).

To narrow the search, enter the % sign as the 'wildcard' (see Figure 3). Use the sponsor's official name (e.g. National Institutes of Health) to search.  Sponsors are not listed by abbreviation (i.e. NIH).

Click 'Go' to search. Once the appropriate organization has been located, select the name, and click 'OK' to save.
