What Are the Different Types of Office of Research Communications?

The Office of Research regularly sends communications to the university's research community.

Tip of the Week - This email communication contains Information on research-related topics that are often unknown or misunderstand but important for research administrators and faculty.  The Tips of the Week are archived here<http://www.research.pitt.edu/tip-week-archive>.

News and Notes - This email communication contains a collection of information from various sources, including governmental agencies, Pitt central offices, training opportunities, and announcements.  The News and Notes are archived here<http://www.research.pitt.edu/news-and-notes-archive>.

General Announcements and Alerts - This email communication contains important information for the university research community that is neither a Tip of the Week nor in the News and Notes.  Often, this information is time sensitive, from leadership, or could be a forwarded email from a sponsor or university committee.  The general communications are archived here<http://www.research.pitt.edu/communication-archive>.

PERIS(tm) Project Communications - These email communications are sent by the PERIS(tm) project team to the PERIS(tm) listserv to share information and tips about how to use the new PERIS(tm) solution and to provide project status updates.  Announcements and information about the project can be found on the project's website<http://electronicresearch.pitt.edu/>.
