ASEEES Annual Convention</a> </b>with the deadline of </span><b><span style="color:red">March 1</span></b><span style="color:#312F30">. We plan to host an in-person convention in Chicago in November following a smaller virtual convention in October. In the
proposal submission process, you will be presented with an option to apply to either the in-person or the virtual convention. The number of sessions for the virtual convention will be limited. We acknowledge that circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic
continue to evolve and sympathize with possible health, travel, and financial restrictions of our members. However, we are unable to accommodate the option to move from an in-person to virtual or virtual to in-person format in 2022 due to the severe scheduling
challenges we faced during the 2021 Convention. We thank you for understanding this constraint when submitting proposals. ASEEES will be carefully monitoring the conditions and best practices and will make adjustments as necessary to ensure the health and

Internship Grant Program</a>.</span> <span style="color:#312F30">This program provides MA, PhD, and professional school students and recent graduates with grants that make it possible for them to accept unpaid or underpaid internships in areas directly related
to Russian studies. <span style="background:white">The program promotes the entry of young scholars with considerable Russian studies expertise into sectors outside of traditional academia. These internships must be in the US and should be substantial in duration
and responsibilities, lasting two months for summer internships and four months for internships during a semester in the regular academic year.</span></span>
