<b><i>NOTE:</i></b> The ASEEES convention hotel – <b>the Boston Marriott Copley Place – has</b>
<b>not been affected by the current strike</b> at the Sheraton and Westin in Boston. Marriott and Sheraton merged last year, but the current negotiations are for employees of the Sheraton chain. The staff at the Marriott Copley Place is NOT on strike, and
there is no picket line at the convention hotel. ASEEES is using all the leverage the organization has to pressure Marriott's corporate office to settle contract negotiations quickly and will keep members informed of any developments.<o:p></o:p></p>
