The program offers up to five (5) Dissertation Research Fellowships, including a Research Fellowship on Women’s and Gender Studies, and two (2) Dissertation Completion Fellowships. The program is open to US students in PhD programs at US and Canadian universities.  For 2024-2025, due to the difficulty of conducting research in Russia, applicants may propose to conduct research at locations that are most beneficial for their research topic, including within the United States. However, preference will be given for archival research in Eastern Europe and/or Eurasia. We thank the KAT Charitable Foundation and the JKW Foundation for their continued support of the program.
