CFA: The application deadline for the Cohen-Tucker Dissertation Research Fellowship in Russian Historical Studies is Jan. 8, 2018: www.aseees.org/programs/ctdrf<http://www.aseees.org/programs/ctdrf>  The fellowship provides a stipend of $22,000 for US graduate students to conduct dissertation research. Please share this information with any interested students.
New: We are now offering a program on Exploring Career Diversity:  a service that matches professionals with SEEES MA/PhDs employed beyond the professoriate, with PhD students and recent PhDs who are interested in broadening their career horizons: www.aseees.org/programs/career-diversity<http://www.aseees.org/programs/career-diversity>  We are especially asking the non-professoriate professionals to volunteer for this service.
CFP:  The next deadline for the First Book Subvention program is Feb. 1, 2018: www.aseees.org/programs/firstbook-subvention<http://www.aseees.org/programs/firstbook-subvention>  We congratulate the recipients<http://www.aseees.org/news-events/aseees-news-feed/first-book-subvention-recipients-october-2017> of the subvention in fall 2017.
Also, today - Tuesday, November 28 - is #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back.  We have launched many new programs in the last three years, such as the ASEEES dissertation grants, convention travel grants, the first book subvention and the mentoring programs, and your contributions have made them possible.
