Volunteer to Serve as a Mentor
ASEEES offers a mentoring program for graduate students and early-career scholars: www.aseees.org/programs/mentoring<http://www.aseees.org/programs/mentoring> We received a large number of applications this year from those seeking mentors. We are asking mid-career or senior scholars, as well as professionals from outside the academy to consider volunteering to serve as a mentor by completing this short form: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdk7O-IvzUZYdJR2xY54d9NcFiIYTxx1LzO1F8NgzxtQhAKMA/viewform<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdk7O-IvzUZYdJR2xY54d9NcFiIYTxx1LzO1F8NgzxtQhAKMA/viewform> The expected time commitment is minimal. ASEEES membership is not required to serve as a mentor. Please fill out the form by May 17.

We are delighted to offer a new travel grant for Russian scholars to participate in the convention. The funding is provided by a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York. Please see the above link for more information on the grant.
* Because we do have participants who drop out from time to time and panels that need substitute papers, we have created a substitute paper sign-up sheet: www.aseees.org/convention/substitute<http://www.aseees.org/convention/substitute> If an opening develops on a panel for which your proposal is a match, we may contact you then.
* The convention registration is open. Register by Aug. 11 for the earlybird rate: www.aseees.org/convention/registration<http://www.aseees.org/convention/registration>
* The convention hotel reservation info can be found at: www.aseees.org/convention/hotel<http://www.aseees.org/convention/hotel>
* Sponsoring the convention is a great way to show your organization's support for the field. Please consider becoming a sponsor: www.aseees.org/convention/sponsorship<http://www.aseees.org/convention/sponsorship>
* Exhibiting at the convention and advertising in the program are great ways to reach the participants of the Chicago convention, which is expected to be the largest in recent memory (larger than the 2016 DC convention) www.aseees.org/convention/exhibit<http://www.aseees.org/convention/exhibit> The number of booths are limited and selling fast.
