UPDATE YOUR MEMBER PROFILE

*         The Fall issue of Slavic Review and the August issue of NewsNet will go to the printers soon.  If you have moved recently, please update your address so that your copies reach you.  You can update your information in the members site<https://netforum.avectra.com/eweb/DynamicPage.aspx?Site=aseees&WebCode=MyInfo> or by contacting Jonathon Swiderski, membership coordinator, at aseees at pitt.edu<mailto:aseees at pitt.edu> -address changes must be received no later than Friday, July 25, in order for you to receive the upcoming issues.

*         If you have changed your institutional affiliation, please make sure you update your information so that your listing in the Convention Program will be correct.  We must receive such changes by Friday, September 5, in order for them to appear in the program.

*         Please enter/update your demographic information.  Our online member directory is only as useful as  the information you enter.

*         Also, consider volunteering for ASEEES.  You can indicate your interest as your update your information: http://www.aseees.org/about/volunteer



ASEEES BOARD ELECTION

The 2014 ASEEES Board of Directors Election is currently ongoing:  http://www.aseees.org/about/board-elections

Please VOTE, if you have not already done so.  If you are a current member, you should have received an e-mail with a link to an online ballot.  Your participation in the ASEEES governance is important. If you have not renewed your 2014 membership, please do so and we will send you a ballot. ASEEES 2014 CONVENTION

The 46th ASEEES Convention<http://www.aseees.org/convention> will be held at the beautiful San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, Nov. 20-23, 2014. We have a stellar schedule of panels and roundtables, particularly on the convention theme, "25 Years After the Fall of the Berlin Wall: Historical Legacies and New Beginnings."

HOTEL RESERVATION

Please you reserve now: http://www.aseees.org/convention/hotel .  Because of the ACTFL Convention going on at the same time, we expect the hotel to sell out and the availability of other hotels in San Antonio to be limited. If you wish to share accommodations, we suggest that you enter your information on our roomshare page<http://www.aseees.org/convention/roomshare>.
