Acceptance notification for the ASEEES 2013 Convention, Boston, has been sent out to session organizers and individual paper submitters. If you have not heard from your session organizer, please contact him/her directly for more information.
REGISTRATION
The convention registration is now open: http://www.aseees.org/convention/registration.html. Register by Aug. 23 to receive the reduced registration rate.
ASEEES MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT
All participants - session chairs, discussants, paper presenters and roundtable members - who are Slavic, East European, and Eurasian studies scholars in the US and abroad must be current ASEEES members. If you have not renewed your membership for the current calendar year, you must do so at this time: http://www.aseees.org/membership/membershipindividual.html
Only scholars outside the field of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian studies are not required to join ASEEES, but must register for the convention at the non-member rate. Please note that it is cheaper to join at the Affiliate member level than to pay for non-member regular registration fee.
DAVIS GRADUATE STUDENT TRAVEL GRANT, Deadline: April 15
The Davis Grant provides travel funding for graduate students to participate in the convention: http://www.aseees.org/convention/davisgrant.html Late applications will not be reviewed.
REGIONAL SCHOLAR TRAVEL GRANT, Deadline: May 1
The new Regional Scholar Travel Grant provide travel funding to scholars from Russia, Eastern Europe and Eurasia (see website for list of qualifying countries and eligibility details) to participate in the convention: http://www.aseees.org/convention/regionalgrant.html Late applications will not be reviewed.
